A few weeks ago, I had the privilege to present my first journal article in the Science track “Advances in GI Science” at the Esri User Conference in San Diego.
In this session, talks about Holocaust research and a call for place-based GIS (Alberto Giordano), Extraction of spatio-temporal data from historical documents (Susanna Abraham) and in which way Spatio-Temporal Analysis can advance New Testament text interpretation (my research) were delivered.
The GI Science sessions were organized in collaboration with the refereed academic journal Transactions in GIS, and included presentations of papers published recently in that journal.
